A Statement of our Purpose and Objectives
Overview
SCC Capital is a registered investment advisor specializing in providing active, full-time professional, active investment management services.
SCC Capital Group was formed with the objective of managing capital for safety of principal, income and growth. Our investment strategy is designed to avoid high-risk periods and to invest when we have a positive expectation of favorable returns. This type of active investment management is designed to allow SCC Capital to achieve favorable rates of return without being subjected to undue market risk.
After consulting with our clients, we design investment strategies that correspond to their individual goals and risk tolerance. We pride ourselves on our service and commitment to our client’s financial future.
How We Do Business
We do business as a fee-only Registered Investment Advisor. The fee is negotiated between our clients and ourselves and depends on factors such as the type and size of the investment portfolio. While the choice of where to hold your funds is up to you, we have established a custodial arrangement with Schwab Institutional. Schwab has served as an institutional custodian for 20 years and has about $500 billion in assets under its custodianship.
Our clients’ funds are held in custody by Charles Schwab & Co while SCC Capital provides the investment advice. The client has Internet access to the account at all times and receives monthly and quarterly statements either by email or mail.
We provide our investment management services to individuals and their individual retirement plans as well as to pension and profit sharing plans, trusts, estates, charitable organizations, corporations and other business entities.
In most cases, our minimum account size is $150,000.
